Indicated are the percentages of the variance of the traits that are explained by each covariate, all QTLs taken together (along with the expected number of QTLs), and the residuals. Heritability is defined here as the ratio of the variance attributed to the QTLs (column 5) to the variance not explained by the covariates (column 5 + column 6).
